Sunset at the Palms, the all-inclusive, treehouse-style, adults-only resort in Negril, Jamaica, announces a new bespoke concierge service, a “Personal Sunset Concierge.” With the goal of providing a highly personalized, pampering and stress-free vacation for the resort’s guests, Sunset Concierges also live up to their title by reminding guests about the timing of each day’s sunset so that nobody misses an opportunity to see the resort’s breathtaking evening ritual.
A Personal Sunset Concierge is assigned to each guest immediately upon check-in and then acts as an unofficial resort guide and assistant throughout the stay. The concierge ensures a smooth check-in and check-out process; assists with any room amenities and needs; makes dining reservations on and/or off property; books tours, excursions, water activities, and spa appointments; helps arrange private celebrations for birthdays and anniversaries; and much more. In addition, each concierge will see “their” guests personally or leave a voice mail in their rooms to let them know what time they can experience sunset each evening of their stay.
Each Personal Sunset Concierge is also trained to provide general information about Negril from a tour guide’s perspective, offering insight and advice on what guests might want to see and do around the destination. This includes sharing the history of Negril and providing personal insight about tours and activities, as well as talking with guests about Jamaican customs and culture.
“Our goal is to provide the very best Caribbean vacation complete with total comfort and relaxation,” says Ian Kerr, Sunset at the Palms’ managing director. “With this new level of personalized service, we hope to simply alleviate the stress that goes into any vacation, including researching, planning and decision-making. Ultimately, we think this will make the guest experience even more enjoyable than it already is. We don’t want our guests to worry about any detail once they step on property.”
Nestled among endless white-sand beaches and lush foliage, Sunset at the Palms invites guests to experience the sensuous warmth of the resort any season of the year. A stay here features air-conditioned accommodations in 85 treehouse-style guest rooms with private balconies; private beach access and a variety of non-motorized sports; tennis courts, a fitness center and swimming pool; all meals and beverages; and Club MoBay VIP arrival service at Sangster Airport in Montego Bay, for fast tracking through immigration and customs.
